The Commission will hear mining related evidence from a long term contractor to Alexkor and to a mining Joint Venture between Alexkor and the Alexander Bay community, Mr Gavin Craythorne at 10h00 on Friday, 08 January 2021. The Commission will also hear evidence from Mr Albert Torres of Gobodo Forensic Investigation Audit who conducted a forensic investigation of irregularities relative to Alexkor and the joint venture, commissioned by the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE).
